What security standard do your commercial aluminium doors follow?
PAS 24 routes are available where specified; ask for the test evidence for your door at quote. On that route the door is built with the tested hardware package. Single leaves are tested to 1.3 m by 3.0 m, with a bottom pivot to 250 kg. See security.
Can you integrate access control and door entry systems into commercial framing?
Yes. Commercial entrance framing, 68 mm deep for frame and door, takes access control: electric strikes, mag locks, panic hardware, card readers and automatic operators. We coordinate cut-outs, cabling and reinforcement at design stage so the door and ironmongery suit each other. Confirm your control spec when you request a quote.
What safety glass do you use in commercial aluminium doors and screens?
Commercial doors and framing glaze from 24 to 44 mm with toughened or laminated safety glass in critical locations. Specifications cover impact safety, manifestation, plus acoustic or solar control where needed. Glass make-up and the whole-unit U-value are confirmed against your brief at quote. Will the doors stand up to high-traffic commercial entrances?
Yes. Our commercial aluminium doors take high-frequency use, with heavy-duty hinges, robust closers and reinforced corners rated for repeated daily cycles. Single leaves to 1.3 m by 3.0 m, and up to 250 kg on the bottom pivot, are carried on hardware matched to the weight, confirmed at quote. Aluminium resists warping, so entrances stay square. We match hardware grade to footfall at quote.
How do you support specifiers and architects on commercial projects?
We support architects, contractors and specifiers direct: fabrication to BS EN 14351-1 and BS EN 13830 routes, UKCA marking, Declaration of Performance and test evidence.
